Sacrifice is one of the Islamic traditions and religious orders and is a symbol of severing attachments and dependencies and a manifestation of sacrificing one's life and property in the way of God's love and pleasure. As God Almighty says: When you sacrifice, what belongs to God is your piety, not the flesh and skin of the sacrifice (Surah Hajj, verse 37).
